Sintali announced today that Jan Poulsen has joined the company as an executive advisor. In his new position, Jan will focus on supporting the management team in building the future growth path for Sintali.
Jan comes with extensive experience in business operations and driving commercial growth, and has helped build and grow several companies internationally. During his time as CEO of thinkstep, one of the largest sustainability consultancy and software companies in the world, Jan developed new product lines, increased the profitability of the business and drove the international expansion and growth of the company. He is now the CEO at Cenosco, a global software company in asset integrity management, where he is focusing on further professionalising the company and leading its accelerated growth journey.
Jan’s experience and network will be instrumental in guiding the next phase for Sintali as the company looks to strengthen its presence internationally and expand into new business lines.
“Sintali is a great combination of a purpose-driven organisation, a fantastic team, powerful partners and an enormous opportunity for scale,” said Jan Poulsen. “The company is well positioned to drive environmental and social improvements while creating economic growth on a global scale. I am excited to work with the team and look forward to creating long-lasting impact with them.”
Sintali is creating impact at a rapid pace. In the last year, the company has certified almost 5 million square metres of floor area around the world, resulting in 88,356 tons of carbon dioxide emissions saved on an annual basis. As more companies internationally commit to certifying their portfolios of buildings and transitioning to net zero carbon, as NEO Property Management has done with the first EDGE zero carbon portfolio in the Philippines, that trajectory will continue to rise in the coming years.
“We have a big challenge ahead of us to green every building on this planet” said Tom Saunders, managing director at Sintali. “Jan’s expertise will help us scale to maximise our impact in the global built environment.”
